Yaw Liamy provides environmentally friendly materials. Our Solution fabric can reduce about 60% of carbon emissions, 60% of energy, 60% of chemicals and 80% of water. We also develop fabrics using plastics recovered from the ocean, discarded fishing nets, paper pulp, Vegan Leather, and Bio. The materials are innovative and friendly.

Solution yarn

Dyeing and finishing is the most polluting section in the textile industry. It consumes a lot of water, chemicals, and produces polluted wastewater and CO2. The solution yarn is mainly mixed with the color masterbatch in the spinning process. In addition to reducing pollution, the color fastness performance is also quite excellent

ECOGREEN-OCEAN YARN

Yaw Liamy obtained recycled yarn made from marine waste plastics and bottles from Taiwan, the United States, Vietnam, and China. The recycling process is recorded and certified by Ocean Cycle, so as to stand on the same front line with the brand and care about the issue of ocean recycling of waste plastics.

Fishing Net Recycled Nylon Fiber

Yaw Liamy want to provide a way to save the ocean, and to use discarded fishing nets to recycle fabrics. In order to reduce the pollution and harm of fishing nets to the ocean, and to be friendly to the ocean, the first phase of the project is the southern waters of Taiwan, which will be expanded to other places in the future.

Kraft Paper

This product is not leather or cloth. It is made of wood pulp. After special treatment, it is not easy to dissolve in water, and its load-bearing capacity is higher than that of ordinary paper. we have cooperated with many manufacturers to develop backpacks and bags, introduce them into the market, and work together to protect the environment.

Vegan Leather

Vegan leather is made of 100% TPU without any animal leather. After foaming, it feels like genuine leather. Environmental protection is an important issue, because vegan leather is used in fashion products, which is already one of the most popular products. Yaw Liamy designs special molds to reduce remaining material and stitching time.

Bio

Chemicals made from non-edible plants such as Castor, corn stalks, palm stalks, kitchen waste... etc. can reduce oil consumption and CO2 emissions. Although chemicals are made by biomass, the strength of the product is almost the same as that of products made from petroleum.
